A real friend will be there for you when you need them and they won't ask a bunch of questions but they will stand by you when you need support.

A simple way to answer your question is with another question: if you are in jail, would this person come to bail you out at 4 A.M. in the morning?

Friends are people who you like to spend time with. Real friends are those people who stick with you no matter what may befall you.

That's a really tough question to answer. I'm not sure how to categorize who is a friend or not. I guess if you like hanging out with that person and they are not a family member, they are a friend.
