I'm going to be a junior, and i took the PSAT last year. I need to take the SAT before I apply for colleges, but I can't decide when would be the best time to take it. Any advice?

I asked my guidance counselor this question and he said the same thing. Schools don't take your highest single test score, they can mix and match the highest score for each section, so the more times you take it the higher your score usually. I just wanted to make sure so i asked my prepme tutor and she also agreed. I guess it might be more work, but in the long run it can increase your score by a lot. So it's probably good to take it a bunch of times and start as soon as you can!! Hope that helps!
I am a junior this year and it is highly recommended at my school to take the SAT twice junior year and once in the fall of senior year. There are a few test dates for the SAT, but I would take it in March and May. This way, you have more information that you have learned at school. However, when you take the SAT really depends on what courses you are taking this year and what your schedule is like.
Hey, I'm about to be a senior and I'm going to be applying to colleges this spring. I didn't realize last year that applications were due in january, which means you can't take the SAT anymore after December. Take it from me that you should start taking it in your junior year because if you wait like me you'll only get to take it twice!
Or maybe not as many times as you can, but more than once. I took it the first time in my Junior year, but I took it two more times after that. My score got better each time, so it seemed like a good plan to me. Maybe if you take it more than once, your score will get better too
I took the PSATs my sphomore and junior year of high school. And i am taking the SATs in May. Usually your guidence councler will help you when it comes to that time, but with my school, the school sets up the dates for all the juniors to take it at the same time.
I think it will be advisable to take the SAT two times. One in your junior year and the other in your senior year. You have to take the SAT Reasoning Test in the spring and then take the Subject test in the fall because if you want to go to a good college, they look at the SAT II
