The College Prep Scholarship is a scholarship for juniors with excellent academics and a low-income family. It provides three things: fully-paid college summer school programs at schools like Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. Since I am a Freshman, how would I get ready for such a big journey?

I think getting good grades and high SAT scores are the most important things. That means work hard in school, plan out what classes you want to take over the next few years and also start your test preparation early. I think these prepme guys have a precocious program? Like maybe that's for 9th graders?
Questbridge is a really cool program for students from low-income families. I think a great way for someone who is planning out as well as you are is to figure out what classes you can take to show that you are taking a rigorous schedule and also starting your ACT or SAT prep early.
I would take the ACT this year since you only have to send your best ACT score and then you can do the PSAT in October since you'll be a 10th grader then and that won't show up on your college appliations either.
