i think i like this girl. i met her in 7th grade (im in 9th now) but its not like we talked much at all. since then we've said less than 10 words to eachother. i havent had her in any of my classes since then but i've tried saying "hi" when i see her in the hallways. we started messaging and txting a lot a few months ago. she gave me her # and i didnt even ask or mention it. she used to send me txts first.we were txting a lot then but now when i txt her she just replies with short (seemingly apathetic to me) answers. when i've said hi she smiles but doesnt really slow down or say anything much back. is she shy around me or has she lost any interest (if she ever had any)? *she's had boyfriends before...

Oldrags, I am so sorry to tell you but it seems like she has lost interest in you. I think the main reason being is that both of you don't have classes together so you guys don't meet each other that much except in the hallways. That is not a good way to start or have a relationship. I think you should have asked if she liked you and asked her out (if you really liked her also) when you guys were texting each other. Oh well, nothing good is really going to happen if you think about what you could have done. So just move on. I bet there are plenty of girls who will like you.
