How can I expect my social life to change when I get to college?
Best Answer
Because you'll be around the same people constantly and you won't be around your parents and family as much, you'll develop friendships faster as the time you would have spent with your family is replaced by time spent with new friends. Also, it really depends on the college you choose. Some colleges are very cliquey while others have more open-minded student bodies. This is a really important trait to look for in a college. A lot of colleges advertise diversity but that is pointless if all the people of each ethnic group just hang out with each other!

I'm not sure why your social life would change. You control your destiny. If you used to be a nerd and now want to be a jock, I guess starting college is a time to re-invent yourself.
I guess it depends what crowds you get to and whom you talk to but it shouldn't make a difference if you talk to people who enjoy the same things you do
