Im in the dark about the application essay that you're supposed to turn in with every application. is this supposed to be about why you want to go to each school? it seems like you need a new essay for each school, so it would be a lot of work to apply to a lot of schools.

Is to write one essay that you can submit to every school. It should be about you on some level, reflecting your values and desires. But you should also write about yourself in osme creative manner, through the lens of some activity or event in your life. This way, you differentiate yourself from everyone else who's applying.
It's impossible to write an essay for every application, but make sure your essay isn't so general that is just blends into the mix of thousands of applicants. Standing out is crucial to getting in.
If i were you then I would just make one letter for ever application. Wriet one then just make copies of it to send with every application. I think mo matter what school you apply to they just all want to know the same thing: why you picked them, what type of person you are. If you do that then my guess is that you are well on your way.
