I really like singing in the choir at our school, but recently a lot of the other people in the choir have been making me pretty angry. I want to keep singing but the other people in the group almost make me want to quit. Does anybody have any advice on how I can make this work?

If you really like singing, then you can just focus on that as your reason for sticking around. You can block out the other people who are making you angry. I think we've all experienced something similar where certain obnoxious people make an otherwise enjoyable activity boring. Just keep at it and don't let them get to you!
I think it's easy to say that you should stick it out but often in such situations, you'll keep trying until it leaves you in tears. Save yourself some stress and find another choir that you can participate in outside school or find another way for you to express your musical talents. What about participating in musicals at school?
I used to get pretty angry over small things and since I started doing yoga and meditating, things have gotten a lot better. I find myself more focused and don't get annoyed by silly people!
Why not just talk to the people who are annoying you and say that you really enjoy singing but they are bothering you? Stick up for yourself.
Wow I know exactly what you mean. For some reason it seems like drama seems to follow chorus and it's annoying. If you can find a single friend in your section, stick with them and blatantly ignore the others. If they ask you what's wrong, tell them. And if the repercussions fo that aren't so well, then notify your teacher. Also, maybe it is just your section and perhaps the altos or sopranos would be more reasonable. It's a good chance to try new things with your vocals too!
