Help me fix my friendship!
I recently talked badly about a friend behind his back and now he found out and he's mad at me. How do I get my friend to forgive me?

Put yourself in your friend's shoes. You would be hurt if you rown friend spoke negatively of you behind your back. First, you need to apologize and say that what you did is completely unacceptable and you're extremely sorry about it. Second, give it time. Time heals such problems and it will get better over time. If your friend isn't willing to forgive you then he or she probably isn't worth being friends with becuase good friends know how to forgive and move on.

It all depends on the magnitude of what you said. Just walk up to him, and give him a sincere apology. If that doesn't work... I'm sorry, I don't have much intelligence for this kind of thing. Good luck. Hope it turns out well.

you have to put yourself out there. if you have the nerve to talk behind his back then you should be able to go up to him and tell him you did wrong. just take this as a lesson that you should never talk behind especially you friends back and think that they are not going to find out......what goes around comes around. go make up because friends need eachother..

That's a cool song and all but in all seriousness, I don't think it's ever too late to apologize. Go ahead and say you're sorry and ask how you can make it up to your friend and unless your friend asks you to sell your grandmother's heirlooms on ebay to raise money for your friend's trip to Amsterdam, then you'll be okay.

Saying sorry can do wonders. Just try it and see how it plays out.

i used to have a problem with talking behind people's backs. eventually i learned it doesnt benefit anyone. nothing good can ever come out of being two-faced. gossiping is tempting and its always good to vent to someone if you need to. but make sure its someone you trust completely and make sure its someone that probably feels the same way as you do. next time, just keep your mouth closed, and you wont have to worry about anything. just talk to your friend, hopefully he'll understand and forgive you. if not, take it as a lesson learned.

You really shouldnt have been talking about him in the first place but I guess the best thing to do is just straight up apologize. (And mean it..) And you might wanna work on not talking about friends.

First of all since he was you friend and you talked about him behind his back and he found you out. The fact that you realized what you do was wrong is a huge and great step because most people dont realize what they did was wrong right at first, and the want to look like the good guy in the situation but their not, so thats good that you admitted you were wrong. The next thing you can do is try talking to him in a mature manor even if he dont want to listen find a way to make him listen, but if this escalades into a fight dont DO IT!!! Because he was your friend and you trying to get that friendship back dont fight him just respect him and walk away but if you appologized and did all that you could do say the hell with him and move on as long as you know you did your part in the situation he's the one whose not being mature about it.
