Do I need to file taxes before completing a FAFSA?
I'm working on my son's FAFSA application and I noticed that they asked for tax information. Do I need to file before I send this in?

No, you don't need to. You can actually mark "Will file later" when you get to questions that ask you about this. Although you don't have to file your taxes before completing and submitting your FAFSA form, most of the financial questions on the form require you to basically have done your taxes. That said, I would complete yours ASAP.

No, but you probably should since April 15 is less than two weeks away.
