Should I take this course? I am having a hard time choosing AP courses for my junior year next year. The choices are: AP Stat, AP English Literature and Composition, AP US History, AP Biology, AP Pyshcology, and AP Java.
Which ones should I take? And is AP english hard? does it have tons of work you have to do or study? do you have to have good english and grammar skills (not really good on grammar) to be in that class?
Which AP courses do you recommend? Is AP Java extremely hard? is it a hard test to take or hard class with a lot of work.
I did already sign up for AP Biology already though, because I really like that subject. But I dont know about the other courses that I should take. I still want to have time to volunteer and od extracurricular activities as well, so I dont want to take all of them, there is a limit of 3 after all.

okay i just finished my junior year of high school and i had 7 AP courses. i am also the captain of my varsity soccer team for high school. all you need to do is know how to manage your time. definitely take AP English Lit, it is very rigorous and will give you distinction because colleges will see that you're taking high level english. the english class will help you when it comes time to write college essays. I recommend AP Psych, but it's a gamble. unless you're going into that field it won't really help you in the long run. but it is a very, very interesting class. AP US History, or APUSH, is very very hard. it is a lot of work. if you think you're up to the task, then go for it. but it is the most work out of all of these courses. AP Stat isn't bad, it's manageable. you'll do fine in that. Unless computer science is your mojo and that's what you want to do, then don't take AP Java. in my opinion it's kind of sketchy, it seems like you would just take that class because it's AP.
all in all, i recommend AP English Lit and AP Psychology. They broaden your horizons and make you more dynamic.
