I know I want to go into engineering but if my math subscores on the SAT are lower should I apply as an open major first? Will i have a better chance of getting in a school?

I'm applying to CSU's and UC's do i have any chance in getting accepted into any with a 3.19 gpa and 1300 SAT? Junior year I got A & B's, took AP classes, and senior year doing the same.

I heard that you only have to submit one test score to the school you're applying to but my older brother said he had to submit all of his test scores?

I really have no clue what I want to do for a job when I graduate, I would like to get a degree in something that makes it really easy to get a job, what are the best majors for that?
